New Version of serVonic's CTI-Solution IXI-PCS Available now: Presence, Instant Messaging, Lync Gateway

In addition to the license for the use of IXI-MetaDir, serVonic's CTI-solution IXI-PCS Server now also contains a Lync Gateway for the connection to Microsoft Lync Server 2010.

The CTI-server IXI-PCS can be accessed via different clients in order to make use of the CTI-features (also in mixed environments):

• IXI-PCS Client for Windows

• IXI-PCS Client for Mac OS

• IXI-PCS Client for Linux

• IXI-PCS Web Dialer via browser

• Microsoft Lync Client

Please find a brief overview of the essential features/highlights:

• Available languages: The software is available in German and English.

• The server-software can be installed on 32bit as well as on 64bit Windows Server operating systems (Win 2003 Server 32bit, Win 2008 Server 64bit, Win 2008 R2 Server 64bit).

• IXI-PCS from Version 1.10 on offers a flexible partner bar including telephony status, presence and instant messaging.
  For presence and IM, IXI-PCS supports the protocol XMPP. Instant messaging and presence information therewith can also be used with smart phones or tablet-PC's.

• Outlook Add-In for dialing phone numbers directly out of Outlook Contacts

• IXI-PCS Lync Gateway: IXI-PCS in Version 1.10 contains a call control gateway for Microsoft Lync Server 2010. Telephones at available PBX's can be connected with the Microsoft Lync Server via this gateway and therewith be controled via the Lync Client.

• IXI-PCS Server in Version 1.10 has been tested with the following PBX's:
  Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise, Cisco CallManager 6.x, 7.x, 8.x, innovaphone V7, V8, NEC Univerge SV 8000, Siemens HiPath 3000.
