serVonic Extends Management
Mr. Jochen Klein is second CEO
Olching, 17th January 2007: Starting January 2007, Mr. Jochen Klein (40) takes over the position as second CEO of serVonic, software manufacturer from Olching, Germany. He shares the management position with the so far exclusive CEO Mr. Eckhard Klein (66), who wants to retire from business in the medium term. What is also new is that on 1. January 2007, serVonic Telekommunikationslösungen GmbH changed its name to serVonic GmbH.
The IT specialist Jochen Klein has been working in the IT-business for more than 15 years now. After having graduated from high school, he performed his alternative national service at the “Max von Pettenkofer”-Institute in Munich for 2 years, where he also worked in the fields of software development. He then joined the parental business as software developer and successfully finished his education as an IT specialist. In the past five years, Jochen Klein has more and more taken over tasks in the fields of consulting and here acted as an interface between technical-, support and sales-department – especially in major projects. In his new role as CEO, Jochen Klein is responsible for the fields of software development, technical consulting and personnel. “I look forward to the new challenges and will make use of my long-term experience in this industry in order that serVonic continues to consequently and successfully compete at the market.”

Eckhard Klein has been CEO of serVonic GmbH since 1984. Before he
founded the company, the trained merchant and technician worked for
well-known companies, e.g. Nixdorf, in leading sales position. With the
appointment of Jochen Klein to the management of serVonic GmbH, Eckhard
Klein wants to withdraw from the operational daily business bit by bit,
but will act as the company’s advisor also in the future.
“At the age of 66, it is time to make way for the younger generation. I
am sure that with the change in management, we created good conditions
for the new generation to lead serVonic into a successful future also in
times of hard competition,” says Eckhard Klein.
